The Commerzbank Foundation wishes to emphasize its commitment to culture with its newly established International Commerzbank Chamber Music Award.
The award aims at supporting young chamber music ensembles in their careers and highlighting the importance of ensemble playing and listening to each other as the basis of musical experience.
The International Commerzbank Chamber Music Award is to be awarded biennially to different categories.

at the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt, Germany (open to the public)
Final
September 14, 2008 the best of the competing Ensembles will perform in the final stage in the Mozart Hall at the Alte Oper Frankfurt (open to the public).
